The KNOTS Framework
Connect ED's mission is to educate, encourage, and connect individuals, teams, organizations, and communities who want to play a productive role in their network. We believe in a shared narrative in which every one of us is a character with an important role to play. All of us are storytellers. When we learn how to share our stories in ways that contribute to belonging, our teams, organizations, and communities are healthier, more equitable, and more able to grow. Each of us has a powerful role to play. K.N.O.T.S. helps clarify that role: K now your story N otice the larger story O ffer what you have T ake what you need S hare the new story |
OPEN People
We are already embedded in networks of relationships that are ready to be transformed into generative agents that build interdependent structures of belonging that turn on our immune system to heal us, catalyze growth and productivity, awaken untapped capacities, and revolutionize the way we believe, act, and feel in the world. Those ready networks, the places where we are most likely to succeed in our efforts to build belonging, are with our O.P.E.N. people: O ften (we already gather often) P ositive (our interactions are positive) E nduring (connections are stable and/or predictable) N ear (we live, work, or play in close proximity) Not all these conditions must be present. Some may be high and compensate for those that are limited. |
